Zenzi Communications has been selected by the San Diego Film Festival as their local agency of record for 2013.
Zenzi Communications, an award-winning integrated marketing and PR agency dedicated to helping clients amplify their brand awareness everywhere their customers go for information, is proud to announce their partnership with the San Diego Film Festival for their 2013 initiatives.
Founded in 2001, the San Diego Film Festival is produced by the non-profit San Diego Film Foundation, whose mission is to support filmmaking while enhancing the diverse cultural landscape and economic vitality of San Diego. Launched under new leadership in 2012, the San Diego Film Festival is optimistic that 2013 will be one of the festival’s biggest years to date, with more films, viewing venues, interactive components, panels and celebrities!
“We had a great year in 2012, but we knew we wanted to bring it to the next level for 2013, which is why we enlisted Zenzi to help us expand our reach and elevate the San Diego Film Festival’s profile on a local and national basis,” said Tonya Mantooth, Vice President of the San Diego Film Foundation.
Zenzi Communications will be supporting the San Diego Film Festival’s existing communications strategy, focusing on innovating and expanding their public relations initiatives.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with the San Diego Film Festival to help them achieve their goals of becoming a national destination festival,” said Sarah Hardwick, Founder of Zenzi Communications. “Combining their vision with our creativity and expertise, I have no doubt that 2013 has big things in store for the San Diego Film Festival.”
The San Diego Film Festival’s new leadership team has a vision of “Going Big” by building the festival into a nationally recognized U.S. festival, and to grow attendance to more than 100,000 within the next four years. The San Diego Film Foundation currently has a fundraising goal of $75,000 to add and improve on their existing infrastructure, including updating technology, securing key personnel, expanding programming and providing more support for the festival.
