Tragedy struck Japan yesterday evening, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 9:46 PM (PST) when an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9 hit the east coast of Honshu, Japan. This is the 5th largest earthquake to hit the world since 1900. Repercussions of the earthquake include countless aftershocks, thousands dead, missing or injured, and tsunami warnings across the Pacific Coast.
